well, my Microsoft Windows is telling me that I have spelt Civilisation wrong, The American Spelling is Civilization.
So... do we all have to conform to America? to Microsoft? The English spelling is Civilisation.

I think most of Society is becoming more and more Rude... More and more Uncivilised in its raping of the environment, its destruction and abandonment of clear ethics and it's 'Vamperific' (vampire like) attitude to natural resources..... suck the blood out of it..... for profit.
No.... describing our modern society as RUDE is too kind.
well what needs correcting, how shall we change it?
It's way beyond that.....
It just needs leaving alone, let it fade into forgotten history. (except we need to remember not to get into the same mess again)
Society.... money... greed..... suits and ties....work work work.... Monday morning.... 9am till 5.30pm.... got to pay the mortgage.... got to pay the bills... got to..got to...got to.
There may be some people who try to desperately hang on to it as it crashes.... crashes is too strong a word.... as it whimpers its way out of existence.... maybe it will crash a bit too.
There are some people who are working VERY HARD to make sure that the old society crumbles, George Bush, Dick Cheney, Brown, Blair, these people have been doing a great job of 'ripping down' the whole establishment, and tearing up the trust people have had for 'government'.
This is ripe for us, this leaves a confused peoples who are looking for a 'new way'.... something a bit more sensible.
Well, there is definitely a very large void there.....a massive cavern of 'come on then... '

There was a man, born of woman, the endless cycle of birth and death, collaboration, creation.
The only thing he believed and knew to be real was the Truth. The Truth he felt in the very core of his being. It was more alive than anything he had experienced, sparkling like a long lost galaxy. And the Truth was all he could live. There was no room for manipulation or ignorance in his life.
His life was pure. People came to him, they had not experienced one so clear. They would ask for his guidance and he would answer them with the words ‘What do you seek?’
The Truth is all that you have.
…it’s all that you are….it’s all that you can aspire to be.
In a society where lies and deceit dominate, we have become detached from what is real and true. We cannot remember where we came from and why we came to be. The lessons we need to learn… the reality we need to accept and embrace, however painful it may be.
Truth is not always pain free… however
when resisted it can become a cancer, eating away at the flesh. The guilt, the
denial is fatal when ignored and can be expressed through the physical body in a
twisted fashion.
Is it okay to be Me?
I don’t know….what do you feel?
I feel wrong.
What does that feel like?
It feels ugly.
Why do you feel wrong?
I don’t think or feel like I should
do, I feel things that are…well, weird.
Weird in what way?
I feel that I don’t belong in this
world.
You were born to this world.
My flesh was. My soul comes from
somewhere else.
Where?
I don’t know. Somewhere else.
How do you know that?
I feel it. It’s my Truth.
Do you speak the Truth?
Sometimes I will. Mostly I don’t
speak.
You are silent?!
Mostly. I talk…but I don’t Speak,
so you could say I am silent.
What would you say if you were speaking the Truth?
There are many things I would say.
People come into each others lives with their own agendas. They impose their
will on the people around us. They assume that everyone picks up on the unspoken
energy, the words that aren’t words. They confuse each other and wrap each
other up in a muddle of messages that have no meaning. They expect each other to
unscramble our thoughts and embrace them. But their thoughts are messy and self
absorbed. They are selfish and cruel.
And your thoughts aren’t?
My thoughts are of my fundamental
Truth. Which is very different to how we are ‘taught’ be behave. I believe
we are free. Natural beings. If you do not question the behavior of our fellow
friends in society, then you will always behave like everyone around you. The
second you question that reality you cause a ripple in the human consciousness.
It’s as if someone has thrown a pebble into the still water. It gets noticed,
only a little at first. Then the attention starts to grow and it keeps on
growing…getting faster and faster. Before you know it everyone begins to
question it. That’s when things can change, from the pool of thought.
Change?
Yes, if you catch it in time while
the ripples are big, before the water becomes calm once more.
So, let me get this right, you are saying that by questioning behavior in society you can create change?
It’s a
simple concept. There’s not much to it really. We operate on different levels
of energy. The physical energy is animated, we can touch it, it’s solid...you
hold something in your hand and you believe it to be true. The Ether
is another energy, which is to do with universal thought. It’s like having a
collective creative inspiration…but where did it come from in the first place?
You cannot see it in our physical reality but in your minds eye it’s true. I
believe that we all have direct links with this reality and this is where the
ripples can be made. When you have intent it goes out on the Ether and if it’s
caught at the right time it can grow rapidly creating a change.
It’s one thing having a thought, but change is something that has to physically happen.
A change
can physically occur when a thought is given clarity. Every physical action
starts off as a thought, an inspiration…a divine inspiration! A musical
composition, a painting, a novel, a new approach to a situation, they all come
from the same place…the Collective Pool Of Thought.
Does that mean that your personal thoughts are not unique?
They all
come from the collective Source. In essence thoughts are born of ‘Collective
Consciousness.’
Do you mean to say that we are all connected?
In
Truth…yes. Most of us live in denial of the Truth, this creates
‘Separation’ and ‘Loneliness’. These are Manmade concepts that are not
natural. We have adapted to struggle through these conditions over the years,
however they take you further away from the source.
So, in a Natural Sate of Being we are all ONE?
We are
connected yes, however we retain our own identities. To say that we are all ONE
may be misunderstood, you could say that we are alONE. My thoughts and actions
have an impact on everything and everyone…Past, Present and Future, as do
yours and everyone else’s.
What about Negative thoughts?
Negative
thought is the polarity to Positive thought. Without one the other could not
exist. It is not ‘Wrong’ ‘Bad’ or ‘Evil’ to entertain negative
thought. It is the space between them which is the most interesting….that is
where you will find the Truth.
So, in a world of extremes we must seek Balance?
Yes, to
get closer to the source. Balance is a Natural State Of Being.
This all sounds great, but how can I achieve that in this society?
By being
conscious. When you are conscious you are living in your Truth. Your reactions
come from the NOW, they are real. The pool of thought is always there to provide
you with the inspiration and guidance you need. The more you become conscious
the more you will become aware of synchronicity and the easier it becomes to act
upon it. Then the more you embrace synchronicity the better equipped you are to
live in your TRUTH. It’s an endless cycle with takes you closer to the source.
There are
many questions. The more you become conscious the more questions you will have.
This in turn changes reality. By stopping your ‘habitual routine of thought’
and asking these questions, it takes ‘old’ thoughts and replaces them with
more appropriate thoughts from the Pool Of Thought. The Ether becomes stronger
and more powerful. Your life becomes enriched and people around you become
lighter, happier and generally less troubled!
Empowerment
begins with a thought.

We are sold this
romantic image of a Knight in shining armor. He will save us, love us, rescue
us, adore us, cherish us…..need I go on! All those things that we just melt
over…
This image of
romance is sold to us through the media through films, books and fairy tales
(They start us off at a very young age!), okay this may happen for a small
percentage of people on the planet (and I use the word may
loosely!)….overall it’s a lie, another way to keep us under control “I’m
waiting for Mr Right!”, well you had better put some warm clothes on love and
get a seat, coz you’ll be waiting a LONG time!
We believe that Love is an external thing, that we are not complete without the Love of another. We become dependant on our ‘partners’ Love and go crazy of the thought that it may get taken away from us. This creates Jealousy between lovers, “I saw you looking at her”, “Do you find her more attractive than me?”, “If only I looked like that!”….all of these things we tell ourselves over and over again, we speak them like mantras “I am not enough”, “I’m getting fat”, “I look ugly”, “What’s wrong with me?”, “ He doesn’t Love me like he used to.” all the time affirming that Love cannot be created from within…it’s something that you must receive from another, thus creating the never ending downwards spiral of Dependency.
How
can we love another if we are so down on ourselves? Imagine if you could feel
Loved all the time, whether you’re in a relationship or not….how can you
truly say to another “I Love you” if you don’t even feel Love for
yourself!
Now,
I’m not talking about us all becoming narcissistic ego maniacs! I’m just
talking about having a bit more compassion for YOU as the amazing being that you
are…take yourself out for a romantic stroll along the beach, or out for a
cream tea…buy yourself flowers! Remind yourself that you are important too!
The
more you affirm in yourself that you are Loved, the less manic you have to be in
externalizing that Love….for example if your partner doesn’t tell you that
you look beautiful today, it doesn’t matter….you already know you look
beautiful! The more you Love yourself the more your relationship will improve
with your partner.
Fall in Love with yourself and let your other Loves blossom.

The more I get into this ‘LOVE’ thing, the more I begin to question it.
We
use the word so flippantly, “I LOVE those shoes” “I LOVE that film”,
“I LOVE the colour of that car!” “I LOVE Chocolate!”
We
use the word as an expression of desire. You don’t just appreciate
something…you REALLY, REALLY, REALLY appreciate it!
Then
we have Love for another….”I LOVE my Mum”, “I LOVE my Child”, “I
LOVE my Husband”.
It’s
no wonder we get into trouble with Love! There are so many different ways to
Love it’s unreal!
I
wonder if this has been orchestrated in society to create confusions amongst us.
Words are powerful, we get offended if someone says they Hate what we are doing,
we become delighted if they say they Love it!
I
guess we are more familiar with Love being a sliding scale. I Love my shoes a
lot less than I love my Mother! And the love for my friend is not the same as
the love for my husband.
It
gets pretty complicated! I’m sure that most of the problems we encounter are
because we haven’t taken the time to identify what this ‘LOVE’ word Means.
In the dictionary it can be anything from ‘a feeling of intense desire and attraction’ and ‘a zero score in Tennis’!!!! I mean…..come on…..give us a break!!!
I guess it would be good
to re-define the word LOVE for yourself. Treat it with a bit of respect. Try to
explain to yourself why you are attracted to that particular piece of
music, or that person, or that item of clothing. Maybe you feel humble, passion,
desire or admiration or maybe you really do feel Love for it.

British Wildlife
has a right to exist
Mankind thinks that
they have exclusive rights to the planet. When we want a road, we build one....a
new housing estate, no problem!
This is fine for us, we
are growing in numbers and as the 'intelligent' species we need to provide more
housing and more roads to travel on.
But does anyone ever
think about the other creatures that we share the planet with? Do we as 'Human
Beings' have the right to destroy their natural habitat for yet another
Supermarket or Business Park? As we rip apart their small patches of forest or
scrubland, does anyone give a thought for where THEY are going to live?
The problem is we
don't.
The problems caused by
us removing their small pieces of habitable land is vast. Foxes turn to urban
areas to get a meal instead of having the plentiful supply of wild rats and
other small creatures to eat in the fields. This then causes problems with the
people living in the cities as the small pieces of green that we call our
'garden' are to a wild animal the only remaining pieces of the field that once
they walked upon.
The wild animal then
becomes a 'pest'.....call in the 'Pest Control'!!!
Even in the country
'pest control' is hired to shoot deer and foxes to control their numbers....
excuse me, is this really necessary?
The following statement
was taken from the defra website "Overall, at least 100,000 foxes are
deliberately killed each year by man in England and Wales, with the vast
majority, by a ratio of 4:1, killed by shooting."
I have lived in the
country my whole life and personally, strange as it may seem, I LIKE THE
ANIMALS!! That's one of the reasons i choose to live in rural Britain! In fact
most of the people i have talked to in my village also feel the same. One
elderly neighbor fondly recalled watching the handsome fox as he had a snooze in
the corn field with his little ears twitching in the crops...and the excitement
that they used to feel when they saw the deer running through the field. But
unfortunately, even in a rural village, we do not see them very often any more.
"Yes, but it's the
natural food chain and were at the top!" some people say... so does that
mean that it's okay for us to wipe out a species? A species that has as much
right to be here as we do?
One thing that human
beings have not yet realized is that we cannot and should not play God. It is
not our right to decide what is 'vermin' and a 'pest'... we are all part of life
and every living creature has the right to be here.
Perhaps we need to learn to co- exist with our natural neighbors and offer them a helping hand in this 'Man' orientated society.

We often wait for others to set an example before we take the plunge. It takes a brave (or foolish) character to step out from the flock and walk in a different direction. In society we are one huge flock of sheep, following the 'crowd'. We don't question anymore, we just do what were told.
This is great for the big corporations....we buy the latest gadgets, the new improved washing powder, that really chocolaty breakfast cereal, and a new mobile phone just because 'they' want us to! If you decide to be different, eat differently, shop differently people think you're weird!
The Media pressures us to behave in certain ways, the way they want us to behave. Our children are being trained how to act in society....society overall has become apathetic...no one can really be bothered anymore.
Whatever happened to the Revolution!? I think it got buried under mountains of paperwork...along with us! Don't forget to keep up with the mortgage payments, pay off your credit cards and give your hard earned cash to the Tax Man. We got so lost in all that crap that we forgot what we were going on about! Best stick the kettle on and make another cup of tea.
The thing is it can all get rather depressing, we 'Give Over' to easily. It's easier to shop in Tescos...it's all under one roof and we don't have to think about it! besides that, it's bloody cheep now! You can even buy one AND get one FREE!
Meanwhile the little shops, the personal shops, the local baker, the fresh fruit and veg, the Ironmongers....they couldn't keep up with the demands that we made of them, so they humbly closed shop. This all happened years ago, right under our noses and we didn't even notice!
Now we want them back! People are now talking about the supermarket wars...Tescos is getting too big for it's boots...they'll soon own the planet! So we go into town to buy local produce and realize that it's not there anymore.......DOH!
But we can make a difference. Somewhere in your local town or on market day you'll see that little stall, someone has grown some Vegetables, or has made some Cheese or some Jam. Okay it may be more expensive than in the supermarket and you may have to carry the bag all the way to the car park but it's worth supporting.
Stray from the flock, be a little daring. The seemingly 'foolish' character from the outside is actually a brave person who dares to think for his or her self rather than blindly following the person in front.

Get together, Get things Done!
It's all very well to talk about 'Self Sufficiency' and 'Renewable Energies' if you have land or a house or even Money!! What can you do if you live in a block of flats in the city and you don't have a garden or even a balcony?!
I think a good thing to question here is the idea of living in a box...we all do it....madness (That's another story!)!! Granted, some are bigger than others....we even get into this whole thing of 'mines bigger than yours'....so therefore I'm obviously richer, or happier or more sorted than you! You may have one person rattling about in a huge country mansion while two streets away you'll have a family of six crammed into a 2 bedroomed apartment!
It all comes down to attitude. I've lived in various houses over the years anything from a Truck to a Wooden cabin to Houses...some have been bigger some have been prettier some have been quieter. Ultimately it's down to YOU to create the kind of environment you want to live in....nobody's gonna do it for you!
If you are in the situation where you live in a block of flats but long to have solar power or wind power, I would suggest communication with your neighbors...you may find some like minded folk if you approach them! We have all become very insular in our lives...we go to work, come home, watch telly or hang out with our mates....we don't really take the time to get to know our next door neighbors.
What's that old saying....Many hands make light work!
If we all got together we could get so much done! Life is a team effort, it's not something that you should take on yourself....it's hard work! It took me years to work that one out! A block of flats, a row of terraced houses, a housing estate new or old....these can all be transformed into a thriving communities. Obviously you won't get on with everyone....that's very difficult to achieve in life, however it can work if everyone makes a commitment to work together. Good communication is essential and a willingness to get stuck in!
It's not that difficult to dig over a patch of land and plonk some seeds in it.....a few months later and a bit of weeding and you'll be digging up carrots and potatoes...you'll have courgettes coming out of your ears! Lovely...yum, yum!
You could even install your own solar panels or hot water system....get a workshop together.....keep animals......make your own wine........build a sauna......be creative!
That's what life's all about!
We humans are essentially sociable creatures. Look how well tribes in Africa or the Rainforest get along together. They all help one another with work loads, the children, cooking, building etc. In our modern society we are missing this valuable link. We try to do it all ourselves.....and fail miserably!
We separate each other into little boxes and put labels on them....Old age Pensioner, Teenager, Disabled, Toddler, Wife, Father, Manager etc. This creates HUGE divides between us all. It makes one person feel better or worse than another, we don't mingle...if your old you hang out with old people.....or on your own.
Old people should hang out with young people! Think how much we would learn from one another! Stories would get passed on, elders would be more respected, the youth would feel understood!
We do this to ourselves, without thinking!
If we communicated a little more we would discover that we had more in common than we first thought.
Every stranger is a potential friend.

Now here's the thing....
For some reason we all need to worship something external be that God, Jesus Christ, Mohammad, Buddha, The Universe, Mother earth, Jehovah.....whatever name we give it, essentially we are all talking about the same force.
People get very angry and fired up when their 'God' is questioned. It's as if they are themselves having to defend their own existence.
What is wrong with us that we cannot appreciate another's views....even if it contradicts our own! Is it that terrible that we must murder and outcast our fellow human beings?
If it makes you happy to give thanks and praise to celestial beings or to be under the roof of a church.....of ANY faith.....then surely that should be okay! After all we all like to be happy and would wish the same of anyone...right?
The fact that there are different theories of what this 'thing' is, is quite interesting. That surely makes for an exciting relationship between faiths, not a divide..
Freedom of thought is a wonderful thing! Like the different colours of the rainbow. And should be treated as so.
I grew up in a pretty 'normal' Christian family. We all went to church on a Sunday, then the kids stayed behind to go to Sunday school and learn about Jesus and the Miracles he performed. I thought they were interesting and fun stories, but I always felt really sorry for the Jesus character. I thought he was very misunderstood. A prophet that was desperate for his own freedom. I'm not sure that I ever believed he did perform those Miracles. I thought that everyone else thought he had...that was all part of it. A Wizard, a Magician a Joker!
Years later when I read 'Illusions, The Reluctant Messiah' by Richard Bach The opening to the story rang so true with me.
Here it is, just incase you haven't read it...or have forgotten:
"Once there lived a village of creatures along the bottom of a great crystal river.The current of the river swept silently over them all - young and old, rich and poor, good and evil, the current going its own way, knowing only its own crystal self.
Each creature in its own manner clung tightly to the twigs and rocks of the river bottom, for clinging was their way of life, and resisting the current what each had learned from birth.
But one creature said at last, 'I am tired of clinging. Though I cannot see it with my eyes, I trust that the current knows where it is going. I shall let go, and let it take me where it will. Clinging, I shall die of boredom.'
The other creatures laughed and said, 'Fool! Let go, and that current you
worship will throw you tumbled and smashed by the current across the rocks,
and you will die quicker than boredom!'
But the one heeded them not, and taking a breath did let go, and at once was tumbled and smashed by the current across the rocks
Yet in time, as the creature refused to cling again, the current lifted him free from the bottom, and he was bruised and hurt no more.
And the creatures downstream, to whom he was a stranger, cried, 'See a miracle! A creature like ourselves, yet he flies! See the Messiah, come to save us all!'
And the one carried in the current said, 'I am no more Messiah than you. The river delights to lift us free, if only we dare let go. Our true work is this voyage, this adventure.'
But they cried the more, 'Saviour!' all the while clinging to the rocks, and when they looked again he was gone, and they were left alone making legends of a Saviour."
I feel this is what we have done over the years, through the many books and
scriptures that we worship. God left religion a LONG time ago! There are many
people saying the same thing, through music and books. "God doesn't even go
to church!" Beaten generation By The The
There are so many different religions now, it's a very complicated business!
There are hardcore religions like the born again Christians, whose policies and
beliefs are very different from being a 'Christian'. The Holy wars, the
bloodshed, the lives that have been lost all in the name of 'God. If I was God I
would not put my name to this.....it's shameful. The true meaning of God has
been lost, religion has become more like an exclusive 'club'. 'Onwards Christian
Soldier, marching off to war....' Hmmmm, do you really think Jesus would
approve?!
We were saying just the other day do you think Jesus would like to be remembered for more than being nailed to a cross? Yet this is the image we associate with church and being Christian.....his death!
Don't get me wrong, I'm a spiritual person. I believe in God, I pray, I feel Spirit around me. I believe in history and I feel that there is much much more to us than the body we own. I think we cling onto this image, this prophet, this reluctant messiah and we have turned him into something he was not. Why do we need to externalize? After all are we not infinite beings with infinite capabilities?
If we could be more like the brave creature in the story we could discover that we are all powerful beings with the capability to perform our own little Miracles.

what's right more like!
What exactly are we doing here on the Planet?
I definitely feel there is some reason for being here, and it doesn't feel like the reasons most people seem to be chasing; earning money, driving to work, watching telly growing old and then dieing.
Somehow that just doesn't feel like a good enough reason, isn't it supposed to be something to do with love or beauty or spirit or angels or growing or becoming aware or living life to the full or sharing or teaching........ what is it exactly?
its not work!
its not money!
its not to get more stuff! bigger house better car.
why are we sold on these illusions, why has new carpets become more important than community, cash in the bank become more important than care for your neighbors.
Why have we been sold these lies?
more importantly, why have we so easily agreed ?
hang on , what lies? what have we agreed to?
daily we are sold lies that this 'product' will make you beautiful, make you rich, make you happy and make others envious of you.
TV, media, magazines, newspapers, films they are all trying to sell us something.... make some money.
Money has been useful for the last few hundred years but its got completely out of hand now, and is really becoming 'last century'
lets face it, the purpose of business is to earn money, the more more the better the business. If you take that to its logical conclusion a business is doing very well when it owns ALL the money, AND ALL the property of the world...oh and one last thing.... everyone is in debt to them by an infinite amount. You could then say that was a perfect business and ultimately successful. The fact that this is also infinite slavery and misery is actually irrelevant to the purpose of business.
So what is this maniac world, this rat race that we have created this race to become the owners of as much money and property as possible? oh and don't forget the slavery bit! we could just call that Control, control of people.
When you have enough money to satisfy your worldly needs then comes the desire to control, who needs money when people do what you want them to do?
Anyway, back to business, what would be a clever business?.... I know ...one that prints money, one that controls the money, one that sells money, buys money, lends money, a money business! that's definitely going to be a business to take over the world......... what's it called? A BANK
Barclays, Lloyds, Nat West, Abbey national, The bank of England, The World bank, The federal reserve..... yes these are good names, why not start a bank with a name like that, then you could control the world!
How would you control the world? with the TV and Newspapers, if you have lots of money you can buy TV companies and Newspapers, you can make people believe anything you want them to believe!
before you know it you can have your own world army, your own Zombie force to carry on the wheels of industry for you, you can have tanks and helicopters and police with guns to control the people, you can create new laws to stop people saying bad things about you...... if you own the banks!
Oh but there are still SOME people with ethics that won't be controlled or tempted by promotion or a bigger wage packet. there are still SOME free thinkers out there who won't be controlled. who wont conform just because its NORMAL, there are still some who won't put on a tie and say yes sir no sir...anything you say sir.
Put on a tie? what's wrong with a tie? it's just a pleasant dress code for people to recognize a standard of operation for everyday business and polite cooperation, nothing wrong with a tie!
OH YEAH....... GO TO WORK WITHOUT ONE THEN!... go on.... for a month!
It is not as simple as that..... maybe you would get the sack or not be respected?

2. you have a poor choice in friends.
